The new reality brings new challenges. Taking into consideration the new situation related to the viral outbreak, BD Food Safety Consultants LLC are now offering Live Online Training Courses. All of our Online Live Courses are conducted in real time which means the Instructors maintain visual and audio contact with the participants throughout the entire Course.  Online Live Courses conducted by BD Food Safety Consultants LLC are equivalent to classroom courses. Participants receive the same type of certificate as attendees completing classroom training. Private online training sessions are available upon request. Receive quality Lead Instructor Food Safety Training from the comfort of your office or home. 

BD Food Safety Consultants LLC uses Zoom to facilitate the Live Online Courses. This online tool allows for visual and verbal communication and a high level of interactivity between the Instructors and Participants. Online Live Courses include Expert Instructors, Breakout Sessions, Interactions and Electronic Training Materials.

  • Course Access

You will receive a webpage link to GoToTraining / GoToMeeting or Zoom. Please click on the link and enter your email address to gain access to the class. After you input your email address you will receive another message with direct access link.

WE ASK THAT YOU LOG IN 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE START OF THE CLASS TO ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR CORRECTING POTENTIAL ISSUES.

  • Visual contact during the course

It is required that Instructors maintain visual contact with participants at all times throughout the course.

System allows for webcam sharing and this function will be activated at the start of the class. Please assure your webcam is properly working before the class. You can test your webcam by clicking on the link below:

No more than 2 participants use one device (laptop, computer). All participants must be clearly visible in the webcam.

  • Audio connectivity

We recommend using a headset to minimize background noise. Please ensure you are in a quiet area with no external noise or other people talking.

  • Participation

Attendance Policy is very strict. It is required that course participants attend the full length of the course. Participants arriving late, leaving early or being in and out throughout the course will not receive their certificates

  • Successful completion of the course and work evaluation

There is no pre and post assessment  in most courses except HACCP course. Successful completion of the course is determined based on your attendance and completing the Group Exercises. The Group Exercises will be filled out electronically and emailed to the Instructors or presented during the course.

  • Training Materials and Certificates

For online live courses, all training materials will be provided in electronic version. Please contact us if you would like to purchase a hard copy of the manual and handouts.

Training Certificates will be emailed or mailed to participants after completing the Course.

  • ID Verification

Per industry standards and requirements, all participants must provide picture identification prior to the class. You may scan and email a copy of your Driver’s License; State issued ID or other picture documents or present it to the camera at the beginning of the course. BD Food Safety Consultants do not store any of the personal or sensitive information (ref. privacy policy on www.bdfoodsafety.com).

We Offer The Following Courses In An Online Live Format:

 

HACCP Course – 2 Days (16 hours) International HACCP Alliance Accredited Course (Recognized by the FDA & USDA).

PCQI Training Course – 2,5 Days (20 hours) FSPCA Curriculum recognized by the FDA as adequate to meet the requirements for Preventive Controls Qualified Individuals under PC for Human Food Rule (21 CFR 117).

FSVP Course – 1,5 Days (12 hours) FSPCA Course designed to help Food Importers to meet the requirements of the FSVP Rule (21 CFR 1, 11 & 111).

Internal Auditor Course – 1 Day (8 hours) Curriculum that is based on ISO 19011:2011 for Auditing of Quality Management Systems and compliant with GFSI requirements for Internal Auditor training.

Internal Adulteration Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) – 1 Day (6.5 hours) FSPCA’s curriculum recognized by FDA as adequate to meet the requirements for Food Defense Qualified Individuals for vulnerability assessment under 21 CFR 121.

Private Online Training Sessions

BD Food Safety Consultants offers private online training sessions. You can have between 6 and 15 participants in all private online courses except IAVA online course. IAVA online course allows maximum 8 participants per FSPCA limitations.  Training materials for all online live courses will be provided electronically.
