FSQA Professional (Supervisor / Manager)

Position Responsibilities & Requirements

This position will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing company’s Food Safety & Quality Management Systems (SQF)
  • Assuring readiness for annual SQF Certification audit
  • Revising current Programs, Procedures, HACCP Plans and Monitoring Logs
  • Supervising the team of Quality Assurance Technicians
  • Conducting GMP Inspections and Internal Audits at 2 company’s locations
  • Daily interactions with USDA / FSIS Inspection Personnel
  • Responding to Customer inquiries and complaints
  • Interacting with Customers on new product development
  • USDA label approvals and labels development 
  • Interacting with Production personnel to solve potential food safety & quality issues
  • Collecting microbiological swabs and product samples for laboratory analysis
  • Documents and Records review and pre-shipment release

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in supervisory position related to food safety & quality (Management experience is a plus)
  • Experience must be from USDA inspected facility / facilities
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP
  • GFSI knowledge
  • Experience in participating in 3rd party audits 
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer skills


  • Salary will be based on individual’s experience (above industry average)
